Daniel Will Participate in the End Times

DANIEL PARTICIPATES IN THE END TIMES

From these scriptures we discover that Daniel was told it would be many days from the time of his visions until the time of the end and that the words he was given were to be sealed until then. He also was told that travel and knowledge would increase as the end times approach and he was given the promise that he would be a part of that end time.

Scripture:
Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days; for yet the vision is for many days. (Daniel 10:14)

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Daniel 12:4)

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. (Daniel 12:9)

But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. (Daniel 12:13)

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?
Daniel was informed that the visions which he saw were to be sealed until the end times and that he would participate in that period.

TWO WITNESSES OF THE END TIMES

Watering the Garden
TWO WITNESSES OF THE END TIMES

In the book of Revelation when the sixth trumpet is sounded there are two of three woes described. During the time of the 2nd woe it speaks of two witnesses that shall appear on the earth for 1,260 days. These two are also called the two olive trees or two candlesticks spoken of in book of Zachariah in the Old Testament.
Words spoken out of their mouths will overcome or devour their enemies who try to harm them. It also says that they have power to shut heaven, that it does not rain during the days of their prophecy and that they have power, as Moses did, over water to turn it to blood. They also have power to smite the earth with plagues, as often as they choose.

As soon as the two witnesses have completed their testimony it declares that Satan, as the anti-christ, will have them killed in Jerusalem and that no one will bury them. Apparently these two are not going to be very well liked because it states that people will be celebrating when they are killed. They will lie for three and a half days and then rise from the dead. When they rise from the dead a (paralyzing fear*) will fall on the people of the earth. (*From the Greek word)

This is probably going to be televised. We have to ask ourselves; will we be paralyzed in fear or rejoicing with the two witnesses because it is time for Jesus Christ to return.

Scripture:
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. (Revelation 11:3-13)

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. (Zechariah 4:11-14)

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?
Two witnesses, who will be annoying to most, will appear on earth just before the return of Jesus Christ. We need to watch for them and be prepared to listen to them realizing that we will either rejoice or fear when they are murdered and rise after 3 days.

GOD’S VENGEANCE

God declares in his word that he will one day remove all that is evil and the souls who bring harm to his Kingdom. We who are his children have nothing to fear. His anger is not directed at us. As the book of Isaiah informs us, God’s vengeance will be a comfort to those who mourn. We can be encouraged by these words from the Psalms, “For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.” (Psalms 37:28)

Scripture:
To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. (Deuteronomy 32:35)

If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. (Deuteronomy 32:41)

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. (Nahum 1:2)

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. (Psalms 37:2)

For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. (Psalms 37:10)

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; (Isaiah 61:2)

For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. (Isaiah 63:4)

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. (Jesus speaking reference the end times) (Luke 21:22)

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?
There will come a day when Our Father will destroy his enemies and those who would harm his children.
